CLASH OF THE TITANS
Today's match up we see 2 of the "big four" or as i would like to call it "kings of kings" face each other.This match is also sometimes addressed as the North West Derby.
THE REDS(LIVERPOOL) VS RED DEVILS(MANCHESTER UNITED)
These 2 clubs are probably the most sucessfull clubs in England. This ultimate rivalry beginned way back in our grandparents time. 115 years ago , 28 april 1894. "This is probably the most famous fixture in English football" quotes The devils veteran star Ryan Giggs.
Both teams are on a mission, seeking the title 'the Greatest English Football Club'
Both teams have won a total of 18 league trophies each. Although liverpool Do win in the overall amount of silverwear. Liverpool have 58 trophies in all competitions compared to Manchester United who have 56.
In recent times these two sides have met a total of 152 times. Statistics shows that Manchester United do have the edge in the number of wins(68 to Manchester liverpools have 59). And there has been a fair amount of draws too.(50)!! Last season liverpool did the double to manchester united. winning 1-4 and 2-1 although united did win the league in the end..
Once again 2day at 9.55 pm Hongkong time zone... They face again...
